Certified OS Support

Very often what appears to be an application software problem or hardware problem is later diagnosed as an operating system issue, making the Windows® Operating System Coverage segment crucial to ensuring your Infinity investment runs smoothly. As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, the ImproMed Support Team is trained to maintain Microsoft Windows® operating systems.

If you maintain hardware coverage on your computer equipment, ImproMed automatically provides Windows® Operating System Coverage at no additional cost to you. If, however, you opt not to take advantage of the Express Hardware Coverage portion of your Infinity Partner Benefits Package or have 3rd Party Servers & Workstations, we strongly encourage you to consider covering your Operating System.

Availability of Operating System Support is limited to customers who purchase the ImproMed® Application Support Coverage Plan and includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Printer sharing and set-up
  • Printer driver installation kits
  • Changing user names
  • Mapping network drives
  • Assistance with down systems/network
  • Consultation on hardware, off-the-shelf software, and operating system purchases

Conditions:

The quarterly or annual fee is based on the type of system purchased through ImproMed®. Operating System Support is available through toll-free telephone, modem, or router connections, during regular ImproMed® business hours.
